Keyword search (like Google Scholar) only returns papers with exact term matches. Undermind's AI reads the full text of papers — not just titles and abstracts — and evaluates semantic relevance to your specific research question. This means it finds papers that discuss the same concepts using different words, and can assess methodological quality and findings in context.
Citation tracking follows the chain of academic references forward (papers that cited your key source) and backward (papers your key source cited). Undermind automates this recursively until saturation — finding every relevant paper in the citation chain, not just one hop away.

Yes. Cancel anytime via Account Settings or by emailing cancel@undermind.ai. Your subscription remains active until the end of the billing period. No further charges will be made.
Yes. First-time subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of their first charge, provided usage has not exceeded 20% of the plan quota. Duplicate charges and verified service outages (exceeding 72 hours) also qualify for refunds. Contact refunds@undermind.ai to request a refund.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Payments are processed securely by Waffo Pancake, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We never store your card details.

Each research query you submit to Undermind counts as one search. Saving papers to your library, using paper chat, tracing citation chains, and generating reports are separate features that don't consume your search quota on paid plans.
Yes. Your research queries and saved papers are private to your account. We do not use your Input or Output to train AI models. Payment processing is handled by Waffo Pancake (PCI-DSS compliant) and we never store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
